Research purpose: With the continuous development of society,table tennis courses are widely carried out in college sports.The employment direction of the students majoring in physical education is mostly primary and secondary school physical education teachers.Therefore,students should not only improve their skill level,but also improve their practical ability and master more teaching theories in the table tennis general course.In view of the problems existing in the table tennis special course in physical education institutions and the needs of physical education reform in colleges and universities,the purpose of this study is to clarify the development status and design framework of TGf U teaching mode,explore the application of TGf U mode in the table tennis general course,and make teaching design based on its teaching design principles and the actual teaching situation.Through the TGf U model and the traditional table tennis teaching model,this paper compares and analyzes the table tennis technical level,physical quality,table tennis interest level and classroom evaluation results of the students in the table tennis general course in sports colleges and universities,explores the advantages and disadvantages of the TGf U model and the traditional teaching model,and draws corresponding conclusions and suggestions.Research methods: The methods used in this study include teaching experiment,interview and questionnaire.The statistical methods are independent sample T test and paired sample T test.The subjects selected Shandong Institute of Physical Education 2022 level social sports guidance table tennis general class 1 and 2022 level social sports guidance table tennis general class 2 as the experimental group and the control group.After a 16-week experiment,the students’ table tennis technical level was assessed,and the changes in the level of students’ interest in sports learning were investigated by questionnaire.The relevant experimental data were obtained by issuing questionnaires and interviewing students according to the impact of teaching effects.The data of TGf U teaching mode on all aspects of students participating in the experiment were compared and analyzed.Research results:(1)Table tennis technology: After 16 weeks of teaching experiment,the technical level of students in the two groups was significantly improved.After the experiment,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the number of backhand attack rounds and the stability of the landing point(P>0.05).There was a significant difference in the number of forehand attack rounds and the forehand attack technique evaluation(P<0.05),and there was a very significant difference in the backhand attack technique evaluation(P<0.01).(2)After the experiment,there was no significant difference in the physical quality between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).(3)Table tennis interest: compared with the control group before and after the experiment,the control group showed significant differences in the three dimensions of positive interest,negative interest and sports participation in sports learning(P<0.05),but there was no significant change in the degree of sports attention and independent inquiry and learning ability;The experimental group showed significant improvement in five dimensions of interest level(P<0.01).(4)Teaching evaluation:according to the teaching feedback,the students in the experimental group generally believe that the TGf U classroom atmosphere is better,and the classroom content is enlightening and interesting,which is beneficial to improve the students’ learning effect.Research conclusions:(1)Both TGf U mode and traditional teaching mode can greatly improve students’ table tennis skills,but TGf U mode has obvious advantages over traditional teaching mode.(2)TGf U mode is more helpful to improve the level of students’ interest in sports learning.The traditional teaching mode is dominated by teachers,but teachers’ initiative is too prominent,which will weaken students’ main position.(3)Compared with the traditional teaching mode,TGf U mode focuses more on the communication and cooperation between teachers and students and between students.When teachers construct teaching content and teaching process according to teaching objectives,they focus on the interaction with students.This requires teachers to have a solid theoretical basis and scientific teaching plan,refine teaching objectives,and make teaching methods more clear and effective.(4)TGf U mode improves students’ interest in sports learning by allowing them to participate in functional games and collective viewing,and further stimulates students’ initiative and enthusiasm in learning table tennis.Such enthusiasm can not only be directly reflected in the classroom,but also help improve their learning effect and classroom quality.
