With the progress of society,more and more people realize that the school education is difficult to bear the full responsibility of educating people,actually family education plays a more important role in it.The reason why I choose this subject is because of the importance of the original family influencing on children deeply.Parents are the ones children to imitate,every student is the epitome of every family.In fact,parents' educational attainment finally determines the quality of family education.Home-school cooperation often focuses on how to educate their children on this issue,but ignores the parents should improve their education and their educational attainments.To write this paper,I hope to help rural parents to acquire educational knowledge,master the law of education and improve their family education attainments to teach kids more scientific and effective.From September 2008 to July 2015,as a middle school head-teacher in Fengshui Middle School,the author taught 103 rural students and continued communicating with hundreds of rural parents on the problem of educating their children.Because the author had been living in the city before contacting these parents,the author didn't understand the customs and situation there,just found that rural parents didn't care to improve themselves,but to focus more on if school can educate children of all or not,especially students' conduct and scores.Most rural parents deal with children's problems simply and crudely,and have very little communication with their teachers.As a result,teachers are difficult to solve students' problems for a long time.Under these circumstances,the author took some methods and found some ways to improve the rural parents' education attainments,and help rural parents to establish a bridge of communication with the school during a few years of time.The author helped parents to solve the family education problems by improving their education attainment,and to make children's behavior and academic performance better.And the author continuously improved methods,behavior and had achieved some results.The main ideas of this paper are as follows:Introduction is the reason and significance of this research topic,the literature review mainly analyzes the domestic and foreign related research on improving parents' education attainments.On the basis of this,the two core concepts of parents' education attainments and home-school cooperation are defined,and the methods used in this study and research objectives are established.In the first chapter,the paper introduces the initial condition of the educational attainment of the rural parents.Through the analysis of the parents in my class,I found out the problems and deficiencies in their family education,such as the backward education concept and the single mode of education,the lack of awareness of frequent communication with schools,etc.The second chapter explores how to improve the education attainment of the rural parents.In this part,the author took a series of improvement activities to deal with the family education problems and help rural parents improve the education attainment and educational methods.The third chapter is about the effect of improving the education attainment of the rural parents.In this part,the author mainly analysis the changes in the parents of my class after three school years' exploration and continuous communicate with parents,.The fourth chapter is to summarize the difficulties and experiences in the process of improving the rural parents' educational attainment.The author puts forward feasible suggestions to improve rural parents' educational attainment through home-school communication and parents training and so on.For example,we have to pay attention to how to cooperate with the parents and the parents'education needs to sustained attention and feedback,etc.Because parents in each class is different,the environment each parent faces and their own personality is not the same,so this paper does not have universal.The author hopes that summarizing the exploration of improving the rural parents' educational attainment can accumulate experience for the future study.
