China has been developed with introduction of marketing economy since reform and opening-up.but also cause the matter of morals in younger generation,which brought a serious challenge of moral education.A new questionnaire which is base on "four factors theory" of mental structure of morality and combine the experience in works of teachers in higher vocational colleges has been developed.After that,in order to study the characteristic of higher vocational college students and the problems in moral education,471 student in HY higher vocational college were survey by questionnaire.And we found that:1 The reliability and validity of the moral questionnaire is satisfactory,which can be used in the measurement of college students' moral quality.2 Overall,the Ideology and Moral Condition of students of HY higher vocational college is well.3 Analysis of variance and independent sample t-test showed that grade,whether was the one-child,where students come from were the important factors of total and each dimension of moral quality.4 Moral cognition,moral emotion,moral will and moral behavior presents a significant positive correlation with each other.And the correlation coefficients of moral behavior with others is low.According to the moral characteristic of student and the "four factors theory",and combine with the condition of HY higher vocational college,we make recommendations for the works of moral education.
