The discourse power of ideological and political education in universities refers to the fact that the educator has the power of use discourse to transfer socialist values to the educated,in order to persuade and influence the educated,meanwhile,the educated have the right to use their own words to express their views and wishes,and to conduct equal dialogue with educators.The development of new media society brings new opportunities and challenges.Facing the new problems in the new era,how to optimize it has become a realistic and urgent research topic.Optimizing the discourse power,to achieve the harmonious state of the discourse power of the educator and the educated person,it is of great significance to enrich the theoretical system of ideological and political education,consolidate the leading position of the ideological discourse power,and create a good environment for public opinion.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is foreword,mainly on the background and significance of this study,research status at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,innovations and shortcomings.The second part is mainly on the related concepts,expounding the concept of discourse and discourse power,two states of discourse power,and the connotation,structure,source and function of the discourse power of ideological and political education in universities.The third part is the analysis of the current situation under the background of new media.Through in-depth study of the theory and data analysis of the questionnaire,summed up the opportunities and challenges brought by the new media.The fourth part is based on the existing problems from internal and external two aspects of attribution.Internal causes include: lack of quality of educators;lack of guidance to discourse right of educated person;college ideological and political education discourse construction is not perfect.External reasons include: virtual diversity of new media society;the timely interaction of new media;the formation and development of network discourse system.The fifth part is to solve the problem by analyzing the problems and reasons.The main measures include: improving the quality of educators' discourse power;guidingeducated person to use discourse power reasonably;constructing a new discourse system;optimizing the environment of the discourse power.
