Research On Countermeasures For Improving The Professional Ability Of College Counselors

Morality strengthening and personnel cultivating is the essential function and core task of the university,and counselor is acting as a guide and guarder to promote the development of the college students.Counselor'sprofessional capability is the basic quality of being a counselor and the guarantee finish the elemental work,which has a close relationship with the development ofcounselors themselves,college students and universities.With the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire and interview,thisthesishas made analysis and study on China's college counselors' professional capability.Referring to the China's contemporary standards of counselor' sprofessional capability,it concludes the real situationsin the process of promoting counselors'professional ability.There exists chances,such as support of nationalpolicy,improvement of working environment,preliminary forming of discipline construction and so on,as well as the challenges,such as lack of a powerful professional security system,imperfect training mechanism,inflexible training method,homogeneous evaluation pattern and so forth.Based on the theory of Bronfenbrenner's Ecological System Theory,it finally researches on improvement strategy of counselor's professional capability from four levels respectively.From the macro level,it puts forward the strategies such as perfecting the training system,improving the professional security system and perfecting the relevant laws;from the meso level,it offers providing teaching atmosphere,constructing incentive model and establishing a professional association;from the micro level,it proposes making ego improvement diligently,improving the ability of self-management and enhancing the professional involvement;from the outer level,it provides developing a standard model of counselor's professional capability,classifying professional roles detailedly.paying attention to students' feedback and so forth.
