With the advancement of the global integration,the attention for education is increasing.Especially in our country,all of the people show their very concern and expectation to primary and secondary education quality because of the pressure of college entrance examination.Based on the competency theory,methods of competency research,interview,literature,observation and other methods are used in this paper.Situations of primary and secondary school teachers' competency are Investigated from six dimensions which are attention to students,professional quality,career preference,interpersonal communication,emotional control,Respect and understanding of others.Combined with the research results,the real problem of professional growth of primary and secondary school teachers are expounded from the professional ethics and attitudes,professional knowledge and skills,professional philosophy and psychological,and the causes of the problem are analyzed.The feasibility of the combination of professional growth and competency of teachers are analyzed in this paper from the aspect of teachers' general weakness of competency.And the professional growth path of primary and secondary school teachers are explored.
