Research On Sports Games To Promote The Development Of Creative Thinking In Middle School Children

As we all know,today's international competition is ultimately the competition for innovative talent,countries are focused on cultivating students' creativity."Kindergarten education guidelines" and "3-6 year old children's learning and development guide" have pointed out that to cultivate children's creativity.The core of creativity is the development of creative thinking.Studies show that 4-5 years of age is a critical period of creative thinking development.Preschool children have strong curiosity and rich imagination,while sports is their most important way of behavior,expression,learning and communication,there are opportunities to cultivate children's creative thinking.This study combines motion with creative thinking and designs a set of sports game programs designed to enhance the creative thinking of young children.The game program has a total of 8 sports games,each game focused on one factor of creative thinking in the training.At the same time,two middle classes in a kindergarten in Shanghai were selected(one class was the experimental group and the other was the control group),and the experimental group was intervened for 8 weeks.Before and after the test using Torrance's Thinking Creatively in Action and Movement(TCAM)to collect data information,to test the effect of the game intervention.The results showed that there was no significant difference in the fluency,originality and imagination level between the experimental group and the control group before the intervention.However,after 8 weeks of game intervention,the level of fluency,originality and imagination was significantly improved,and significantly different with the control group;The control group was no significant difference before and after the test.Based on the analysis and discussion of the data,it is concluded that the sports game designed in this study can enhance the creative thinking level of middle school children,including the fluency,originality and imagination of thinking.The paper concludes the main points of the design and creation of sports games which promote the development of children's creative thinking.
