Caring theory,originated in the late 70's and early 80's of the 20 th Century in the United States,was first put forward by Carol Gilligan,the Harvard University professor.Later,Nel Noddings,an American philosopher,made a further theoretical and systematic arrangement of caring theory and applied it to the field of school education.The caring education theory advocated the establishment of “ caring relationship”,its primary goal is to cultivate the person who has the love and caring quality,use caring to educate,so that student can achieve virtue in the construction of caring relationship.The relationship between teacher and student is the most important and basic interpersonal relationship in education.Caring is the foundation of all successful educations,the key element of teacher-student relationship.As a caring relationship exists,both teacher and student are working together to build a caring relationship.Teachers and students are the main responsibility of the teacher-student relationship,they should care each other.However,with the increasingly fierce competition,the indifference becomes more and more popular,people are learning to care more about themselves than others.In this condition,Nel Noddings' caring education theory just suits this problem,she advocated the purpose of cultivating caring quality,which is just the theme emphasized by the caring teacher-student relationship.This study tries to rely on the research perspective of Nel Noddings' caring education theory to interpret the caring teacher-student relationship.The theory stresses the emotion of education and the interpretation caring,especially the importance role of student.Particularly,the construction of caring teacher-student relationship is the most important part in this article,we should follow the continuity principle,correctly use the education method,take the caring as the subject of moral content,develop the function of emotion,cultivate the caring type of teacher and student,create the caring campus culture.
