Social Work Involves The Practical Study Of The Ability Of Migrant Workers To Improve Their Interpersonal Skills

In recent years,those who have been catching people's eyes along with the special group of rural migrant workers are their children—rural migrant workers' trailing children.The majority of rural migrant workers are at the bottom of cites,under-educated and with poor knowledge and economy levels.Being affected by such conditions,their children are self-abased and apt to misbehave and have problems while getting along with others,which have seriously influenced their normal interpersonal communication development.This research makes a questionnaire survey on the differences between the interpersonal communication of rural migrant workers' trailing children and that of urban dwellers' children and analyzes and compares the differences between them with SPSS22.The conclusions are as follows:rural migrant workers' trailing children,compared with urban dwellers' children,has very significant differences on the parent-child relationship,communication initiative social anxiety,fear of negative;they also has significant differences on the feelings of loneliness.It also analyzes the causes of the interpersonal communication problems with them including individuality,family,school,community and society etc.Their demands are :(1)enhancing parent-child connection;(2)develop good emotional control ability;(3)communicate with peer groups,alleviate the demand of loneliness;(4)enhance the demand of self-confidence;(5)reduce the social anxiety.Through intervening in rural migrant workers' children with social work,it comes to the conclusions as follows:(1)in group work,the use of the incentive method,model demonstration method,brainstorming,role playing skills can promote the rural migrant workers' children get peer groups of friendship,improve communication initiative,improve the ability to control emotions,gain confidence and relieve the loneliness,alleviate social anxiety etc.;(2)based on the theory of advantages and the advantages and resources of the case service object,the case work has certain pertinence to the emotion control ability,the enhancement self-confidence and the communication initiative.
