British GCE A-Level(General Certificate of Education Advanced Level)examination,which is General Certificate of Education Advanced Level examination.The test scores are the main basis for the British Universities Admissions referenced,so similar to my college entrance exam from the functional point of view.Broader scope of its performance,in addition to the United Kingdom,but also has been recognized by some universities,many universities in Canada,Australia,Singapore,New Zealand,Hong Kong and the United States.A-Level examination after several decades of development,the examination mechanism is more mature,in terms of its test subjects(Which also includes the discipline of history),as many as more than seventy candidates for selection to meet the different interests and needs of the candidates.In the British a-level system,there are mainly seven big examination authority responsible for the proposition.Among them,the Cambridge International Examinations committee(Cambridge International Examinations,CIE)responsible for organizations outside the UK International test.Therefore,our country has many students choose to study in Europe and the United States choose to participate in CIE a-level examination.Currently taking the examination of the history of the students is not much,mainly due to front-line teachers and candidates do not understand the subject examination.In addition,China is currently promoting the reform of the history of college entrance examination,but also from some of the higher degree of foreign recognition of the history examination to seek experience and reference.Therefore,it is great significance to enrich and improve the college entrance examination of history subjects and perfect the teacher' teaching by conducting in-depth study of the CIE A-Level history examination.This paper consists of introduction and the body,which is divided into five parts:The introduction part explains the purpose of this study and the significance,introduced the research status both at home and abroad,and points out the research methods used in the process of research and innovation of the study and the main contents of this study.The second part of the British a-level system and the basic situation of CIE are introduced and illustrated.The third part from the test model,target and evaluation standard,content,scope,knowledge information,general difficulty of CIE a-level history test were summarized.The fourth part briefly introduces the grading standards to each type of test questions,and based on the latest sample volume by CIE materials,selected some representative subject as an example is analyzed.Finally,a summary of the test question four features: each type of test questions is relatively fixed;Test the ability of comprehensive;Emphasis on knowledge and ability,both breadth and depth;Topic form is single and is more difficult.The fifth part on the basis of above research put forward the history of our country college entrance examination examination reform and Suggestions and Revelations of the teacher's teaching.
