Investigation And Research On The Development Of Martial Arts Classes In Confucius Institutes In Africa

After more than thirty years of rapid development,China surpassed Japan becomes the second largest economy in the word in 2010,occupying a pivotal position in the world economic structure.With the rapid growth of China economy,Chinese language and Chinese culture is favored by more and more people in the world.At this moment,in order to let the people of the world to understand and learn Chinese and Chinese culture,the Confucius Institute Headquarters set up the first Confucius Institute in Seoul which is the capital of South Korea in November 21 st,2004.After more than ten years of continuous development,especially the rapid development of nearly five years,there are already 134 countries(regions)established 500 Confucius Institute and 1000 classes of Confucius Confucius in the word by the end of December 1st,2015.Chinese Wushu has a long history,and it is the crystallization of wisdom of the Chinese nation in the formation of more than five thousand years during the development process,fully embodies the Chinese ideological culture and style of the national spirit,has extremely strong and distinctive characteristics of the Chinese nation,is the important carrier of Chinese traditional culture.With the continuous development of Confucius Institute,as an important representative of the Chinese traditional culture,Wushu is slowly being integrated into the class of the Confucius Institute.On the basis of the 5W Mode of Lasswell,this dissertation seeks to give a study on the diffusion of Chinese Wushu class in Confucius Institutes in Africa with the application of documentary information,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical reasoning.Summary of the promotion and the development status of martial arts at the Confucius Institute in Africa,found the advantages and deficiencies of the communication process,and put forward the improvement plan for the deficiencies,provide some suggestions and advice to the martial arts at the Confucius Institute for better development in African.1.The opening rate of martial arts courses at the Confucius Institute in African is low;Martial arts teaching conditions are poor,can not satisfy the daily teaching and ensure the safety of students;Due to language barriers and other reasons,students are not satisfied with some of the teachers' Teaching;2.Most teachers have a certain Martial Arts foundation,but they are lack of professionalism;The foreign language of the teachers are poor,especially they are not competent to teaching the culture of Martial Arts;Most of the teachers have arts teaching experience,but they are lack of experience in teaching foreigners;3.The main courses are Long Boxing,Taiji Boxing,curriculum structure is relatively simple;The content of Wushu culture is involved,but the content is superficial and not deep enough;4.The teaching form is single,which is mainly based on the traditional teaching,and can not make full use of the modern teaching methods such as multimedia and the local martial arts association or Wushu Association;5.Students have a great love for martial arts,but because of the tedious and difficult martial arts training,students can not maintain the enthusiasm of learning,students can adhere to the long-term learning is not high proportion.In view of the above conclusions,the paper puts forward the improvement scheme,in order to provide some reference and suggestions for the development of martial arts in Confucius institutes in Africa.
