Mathematics is an important course of developing thinking ability in primary schools.The computing power is regarded as one of the most important and most basic ability by "Shanghai mathematics curriculum standard in primary and secondary schools ".Mathematics curriculum tests in elementary schools also often focus on calculation ability.In recent years,a large number of migrant workers work in Shanghai.There are more and more children of migrant workers in Shanghai primary schools.The same as in the author's primary.What about math calculation ability status by children of migrant workers,who come from all corners of the country,different kinds of families and life backgrounds?Which reasons result in these current situation? What are the effective measures for teachers? The author begins this study basing on the thinking of these issues.Through a large number of literature collection and collation,the author understands the research trend of the children of migrant workers and abroad.On this basis,the author takes the classroom test to just the two classes in fourth grade a total of 55 children of migrant workers.Among them,four children of workers are focused on the conduct interviews.The author finds that the current situation of children of migrant workers' mathematical ability is not optimistic,mainly reflected in the slow calculation speed,low accuracy.No matter the pass rate and excellent rate,it showed that mental addition is higher,written calculation is lower,estimate is the lowest.Calculation is not flexible enough so that can not calculate quickly according to the digital characteristics by operation or operation of the simple calculation of nature law.Through the exploration,the author finds that the causes of the current situation of children of migrant workers' mathematical calculation ability come from internal causes and external causes.The internal causes mainly comes from children of migrant workers' psychological factors,knowledge factors and non intelligence factors,such as thinking,perception,memory,attention to rough short is not clear,disorder,poor habit,lack of confidence and so on.At the same time,the author adopts the questionnaire survey method,a total of 55 migrant workers were investigated,found that there is a part of origin from parents,belong to the family conditions,learning environment,lack of economic support and education consciousness.The external causes are from the teacher,and I ignored the recalculation and decrease the training and lack of estimation.Among them,the theory is not clear and the lack of estimation is particularly evident.In order to improve children of migrant workers' mathematical calculation ability,combining with the teaching practice,the author puts forward some effective countermeasures: stimulating computing interest is the prerequisite to improve computing ability;cultivating good habits is the basis for improving computing ability.Reasoning teaching and penetrating estimation consciousness are the key points to improve teaching and calculating ability.In addition,teaching calculation ability,playing wrong books' effect,promoting home and school with,trying mind maps are also effective methods.It is hoped that these measures will be helpful to improve the mathematical calculation ability of children of migrant workers,and to provide reference and suggestions for teachers' teaching.
