School-based curriculum is one part of the whole curriculum system in school.Together with national curriculum and local curriculum,it built up the Three-level Curriculum Management structure.The developing of School-based curriculum was originate from west developed countries in the 1960 s and 1970 s.This thesis studied on the school-based course development and implement in primary school based on biological subject.Even though there is no special setting up biological subject during primary school,the students have very strong curiosity on the biological world.But unfortunately they are short of exploration approaches currently.There are very few school-based course cases on biological subject focusing on primary stage as well.Thus the current study can not only satisfy the elementary students who have strong learning demands on the related knowledge,but also can promote teachers' ability of research and developing courses.At the same time,it can manifest the campus culture tradition through developing their own school-based courses.The peer teachers were also given a beneficial reference during their own school-based courses' developing and implementing.The thesis consists of four parts.In the first part,the significance of developing biological school-based course in primary school was given,through the status analysis on the school-based curriculum developing in our country.The related concepts of school-based curriculum were defined in part two,meanwhile the developing modes of school-based biological course were explored in this chapter.In part three,the developing and implementing of our school-based course Biology-Life which including the necessity and feasibility,objectives and contents,practices and evaluation of the course developing.The last part summarized the outcomes and effects of the school-based course developing,and current deficiencies.Further considerations on this study also provided in the end of the thesis.
