Senior high school students with musical tendencies were well known as poor performance in their mathematical scores,vast majority of them get much more difficulties in learning mathematics,test score was always unsatisfactory.Even though there were a lot of research on mathematical studies of Students with art-related tendencies,but the research on mathematical studies of Students with musical tendencies was quite few,especially for the cause and countermeasures of their difficulties in their mathematical studies.Therefore,such difficulties of mathematics learning in senior high school students with musical tendencies was investigated in this research.Document analysis,survey,interview,comparison methods were used in this research.A survey was conducted on over 600 students and fifteen teachers from nine schools in Jinan,Qingzhou,Zouping,Weifang etc.From the status quo of the students' mathematical studies,to those reasons on their difficulties in the mathematical studies,both on the personal and the teacher side.The targeted strategies were put forward based on the own teaching experience.The result on the survey shows that nearly 70% of Senior high school students with musical tendencies cannot meet the teaching requirements of lessons,difficult reasons were: 1.Poor learning habits in mathematical studies,disregard in learning habit forming,the learning process was highly arbitrarily and dependency,without any initiative,therefor lowing the learning efficiency.2.lack of understanding of the mathematical learning methods,not good at the analysis and summarization,poor in grasping and connection of basic mathematical knowledge,in lack of systematic and coherent.3.Students with musical tendencies generally in weak willpower and self-control,tend to give up when difficulties encountered.4.Mathematics learning view was not correct,learning motivation and interest was not positive.5.Mathematics teachers were also weak in in the teaching design,deal with emphasis and difficulties,instruction on learning methods,teaching reflection,etc.6.The front-line teacher of high school mathematics teaching was well understood of the actual situation in students' mathematics learning.In all aspects of classroom teaching,they took full account of students' reality,fulfilled the teaching procedures,dealing with teaching material agility,and constantly trying to improv their teaching methods.7.Mathematics teachers were not done well in the forming of students' learning habits,learning methods,more focus on the infusion of knowledge,less in initiative stimulation.8.Mathematics teachers were weak in the old and new knowledge convergence,implement preview and review and other activities,combination of mathematics and professional aspects,still need to constantly sum up experience,and strive to form a mature and efficient and targeted teaching methods.The following countermeasures were put forward to let the senior high school students with musical tendencies: 1.To make their mathematical studies to combined with their musical professionals,to cultivate students in making habit in preview,lectures,notes,practice,summary,homework and review and other aspects in mathematical learning.2.To master the scientific learning methods in mathematical studies in above learning aspects to improve learning timeliness.3.To form the correct mathematics learning view,and gradually improve the interest and good will quality on mathematics learning.And to make the mathematical teachers to:1.To bring students' musical superiority into full play,promote mathematics learning habits' forming and developing,2.To form mathematics teaching methods targeted on students with musical tendencies,3.Use teaching methods in line with the characteristics of students with musical tendencies.4.Attaching Importance to teaching reflection of Mathematics Teachers.
