| In contemporary society,a nation’s international status and influence depends on its comprehensive national power, which, indeed, rests in the race of technology and manpower. Every now and then we are devoted to the advancement of science and technology, while the history of scientific and technological development itself lacks public and academic concern. There is no denying that scientific theories and inventions in the past are not a patch on the ones today, yet studying how science is developed can be a good way to learn from history for future progress. It is important for high school students, the new generations, to learn about and learn from the development history and experiences of science and technology, before they manage to play a role in the development of science and society. This paper is mainly divided into three parts, with the theme of the teaching of science history in high school.The first part starting from the significance in high school science and technology history teaching,explore the history teaching of senior high school students scientific literacy,shaping of the values of the humanities and history and culture.Draw lessons from history teaching in the United States at the same time,contrast, and other disciplines related to the technological content of high school, the necessity of history teaching under the history and uniqueness.The second part focuses on the current status of the teaching of science history in the context of high school history curriculum and to figure out the contributing factors.Research and analysis will be carried out in three respects, i.e. text design, teachers’teaching and students’ learning.The last part is about how to carry out the specific teaching strategies. Under the guidance of the core training qualities in the History curriculum, this thesis takes the teaching of ancient Chinese science history as an example and sets the problems that have surfaced in the current teaching context as a target,to ultimately offer recommendations for pedagogical improvement from perspectives such as raising teachers’ awareness of science history education,supplementing the development of technological inventions to students and paying attention not only to the background of science development but also its influence on people’s social life. On this basis,specific teaching methods and strategies are to be put forward together with examples of case design and illustrations. |
