The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee stressed strengthening the policy of giving priority to employment,doing everything possible to stabilize and expand employment,and improving the employment support system for key groups.As a special group of competitive sports,the employment of retired athletes has always been a hot and difficult issue.In 2020,the Ministry of Education and the General Administration of Sport jointly issued the Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Sports and Education and Promoting the Healthy Development of Teenagers,which further provided ideas for solving the employment problem of retired athletes.Taking the employment problem of retired athletes in Sichuan Province as the research object,this study studied the current situation and attribution of the employment problem of retired athletes by using various research methods such as literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,and found that:(1)The formulation of employment policies is not well targeted and the implementation of local employment policies is difficult.Although retired athletes are temporarily helped to find jobs,the root causes of the problems are not solved.(2)The employment education mechanism is not perfect,the employment courses are lack,there is no specialized employment teaching materials,and the development of employment teaching syllabus and teaching materials is backward;The employment teachers are mainly part-time teachers,so it is difficult to provide professional employment guidance.Employment and education funds are insufficient,and it is difficult to assess teachers' professional titles.In addition,employment courses,employment teachers,employment education activities and other retired athletes have higher demands,and factor analysis presents a positive and significant correlation.(3)There is a lack of platform construction.Online and offline platforms are only constructed piecemeal.(4)The retired athletes' employment intention is single,and the school and coaches give less guidance to the employment intention;The main reasons for the poor employability are the weak foundation of students,the unreasonable arrangement of learning and training time,and the unformed system of "distributary education" for students.Suggestions are put forward to solve the above problems :(1)The state further urges local governments to implement national policies,constantly expand the scope of policies,and further improve the employment laws and regulations of retired athletes.Local governments should improve their ability to implement employment policies,gradually correct policy implementation deviations,improve the popularity of policies,and make local policy innovations in accordance with national policies.(2)diversified solve the contradiction in the course of employment and training of competition,creating and teaching materials for retired athletes employment,promote employment materials integrity,promote retired athletes employment teacher equilibrium,the administrative department through after training and other means to promote the employment ability under the guidance of teachers,improve the retired athletes employment education policy,the implementation main body responsibility division,To effectively promote the formation of a long-term employment education and training mechanism for retired athletes.(3)The management department guides the construction of career guidance platforms,learns from the experience of ordinary school construction,and further enhances the number of career guidance platforms by combining online and offline mode construction.(4)Change the concept of employment and guide retired athletes to change the current situation of single employment intention in various ways;To further deepen the integration of physical education,actively implement the policy of physical education integration,and solve the problem of "weak foundation" of students;Reasonable arrangement of learning time;Change the emphasis on the cultural education of retired athletes,carry out diversion education for retired athletes according to their sports achievements and development prospects,and further promote the formation of "diversion education" mechanism.
