In modern society, there is more and more cooperation between enterprises and most of the countries are paying more attention to win-win situation with others. That is to say, the power of individuals is small and very limited. However, cooperation can maximize the resource utilization, and because of which it becomes one of the most important themes of the age,as is in today's school education.At present, researches on cooperative learning emerge in endlessly, but the studies involving concrete grouping method hasn't cause insufficient attention.Cooperative learning will play a good role in the long term of which the necessary premise is scientific and effective personnel assignment. Therefore, this article puts forward the "temperament type" test as a grouping tool in the high school biology teaching to know and divide the personality of the students, and to construct cooperative learning group based on complementary temperament.In this paper, first of all, there is a brief introduction about the study of cooperative learning and temperament types at home and abroad. The related concepts and theoretical basis is clearly presented. Then, considering the result of the temperament type test to students of the experimental class with the grouping principle, students are divided into particularly groups. After that, this paper undertakes a teaching experiment combined with the specific situation. The application result is examined by comparing mid-term examination results of the control class and the experimental class,investigating students, interest in learning biology and the change of cooperative competency before and after the experiment.Finally, the questionnaire concerning the construction of cooperative group and interviews with some students is employed to collect the students' ideas.This experiment shows that high school cooperative learning in biology which is based on the "temperament type" grouping may help to improving the academic performance in some degree,can promote the improvement of students' interest in learning biology, but compared with the traditional teaching method the effect is not obvious. And to a certain extent, it can improve students' ability to cooperate. So, this grouping is effective as other grouping used usually in daily life. At the same time, it can also help students to improve their character healthily. Students of the teaching experiment also presents satisfactory attitude as a whole.Aiming at the problems in the research process, epilogue puts forward the reflection and prospect, hoping that the preliminary exploration of the research can achieve good effect for further research.
