The Group Work Involved In The Study Of Life Education For Empty Nesters In Urban Areas

On the basis of the research status of empty nest elderly,life education,social work and so on in J city G community,this article through the interview survey of empty nest elderly to understand the reality of the empty nest elderly in this community,for example,the steady retirement salary can guarantee the daily living expenses.Life can be self-care,but spiritual life is extremely empty,there is no planning for future life,and no special perception of life at present.The empty nesters in this community can carry out life education and organize life group activities through social work.In view of the present situation of the empty nest elderly in this community,in the group practice,the author carried out six life education activities on the basis of the theory of the eight stage theory of Erickson's personality development,social support and memorial therapy.These six life education activities are respectively the introduction of life education activities;correct understanding of aging,maintaining physical and mental health,regaining the hope of life,cultivating a correct outlook on happiness,talking about life and death,and consolidating the service of talent display.Through the six activities,social workers had some conversation and exchange activities with the elderly after class.I think there are some changes in the group members,such as the strong sense of self identity,the beginning of the search for inner happiness,the improvement of the mental outlook,and the satisfaction of the elderly.On the basis of flexible use of educational methods,promoting mutual education and innovative introduction of religious ideas,this group has achieved the expected goal on the basis of the change observation of the research object and the understanding of social workers,and the inadequacy of the details is that the details of the activities are not in place.It is believed that under the support of the policy,the number of empty nest elderly,the expansion of professional social workers,the promotion of the concept of life education,the introduction of smart home and the development of new technology in the area chain,the empty nest of the elderly is expected to be relieved.
