With the development of society,cases of death,suicide and school bullying frequently appear in the public view.This series of behaviors that ignore and harm life reflects the importance and lack of life education in the link of youth education.This paper will establish the life education activities,use the professional skills of group work,use the professional techniques of group work to guide teenagers to establish the correct view of life and death,strengthen their cognition of life,so as to achieve the purpose of life education.This study mainly adopts qualitative research method,the troubled teenagers,adolescent parents and their community workers using the semi-structured interview method of material collection,with the cognitive behavior theory,group motivation theory as the theoretical basis of life education activities,trying to explore the advantages and characteristics of group work in life education.The practical process revolves around "rich feeling of life","clarification of the concept of life and death" and "improvement of life value".In the part of enriching life feelings,teenagers explore the origin of life in the interaction with video.In the process of tracing the evolution of species,teenagers feel the mystery of life evolution for the first time,and enrich their feelings of life;in the part of clarifying the concept of life and death,teenagers improve the cognition of themselves and others through the creation of equal body paintings.To clarify the concept of life and death;in the atmosphere of enhancing the value of life,guide the youth to appreciate the value of life and summarize the meaning of life by writing the bucket list.Through comprehensive evaluation,social workers use the intervention of group working methods to carry out life education activities,and assist group members to establish the cognition of life,death,self and others,enrich their life feelings,and enhance their cognition of life value.In the process of group development,with the help of interpersonal interaction between peer groups,based on the group motivation theory and cognitive behavior theory,deepen teenagers’ cognition of life,and establish a correct view of life and death.The effect evaluation of the practical process shows that the group work is feasible to intervene in life education,and the application of social work methods has achieved some results.On the basis of the analysis and reflection of the group process,the conclusion is that the continuous development of the group work can promote life education and achieve the purpose of life education.In the second,as a temporary social community,the group members can interact with each other,build the social support network to promote the purpose of the professional method of the group work can realize the collective strength and social control,thus promoting the establishment of the concept of health and death.
