Based on the development of information technology,micro course as a new type of learning method,which focuses on the refining of the curriculum content and the lively presentation of the content,has gradually been paid more attention to it by the majority of educators.At the same time,micro course gains a good development opportunity with the help of the internet plus but the geography knowledge in junior high school is rich and abstract which increases the learning difficulties for the students.Under these circumstances,the integration of micro course and geography will promote the development of geography education in junior middle school.According to it,the author adopts the literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method to make a systematic study and analysis on the theoretical basis about application of micro curriculum in junior high school geography teaching,its feasibility and practical application effect,and finally she draws relevant conclusions,in order to provide better reference for geography teaching in junior middle school.Through the study,the author finds out the following aspects:first,the micro curse is not composed of the video,and in fact the refining teaching video is the core of the micro course and it includes the micro lesson plans,courseware,exercises and micro reflection and so on which is conductive to the teaching and learning content;in the second place,through making an analysis of the teaching contents in Hunan edition of junior middle school geography in Grade seven,the author finds that the content of the teaching materials involves many abstract knowledge points,such as the universe,the earth,the climate and so on,which is difficult for the students in Great seven to learn it.However,geography is a comprehensive discipline and its content is rich which makes the students be interested in it but they are satisfied with the learning ways according to the investigation for the students about their geography learning and learning needs,and thus these factors have a bad influence on concentration time of students' geography class.However,micro courses with vivid animation effects,graphic form of expression,fully stimulate the students' senses,and with the advantages of traditional teaching,many problems can be solved better;next,according to above factors,the author puts forward three main ways of applying micro course in junior high school geography teaching:preview before class,embedding in class and review after class.Besides,Embedding the micro courses in the class can be used as an appropriate complement to traditional teaching,and it will be combined with geography teaching,with the advantages of micro courses to make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching.Meanwhile,preview before class and review after class can be combined with the flipped classroom teaching mode,which can help the students study it and show the advantages of the micro course in meeting the students' individual learning.It is noteworthy that the above three methods require teachers to flexibly apply to classroom teaching according to the actual situation not pursuit of its application in the form;fourthly,the author finds out that the materials of micro courses in some website are quite mature by analyzing network micro curriculum resources with the information coverage,fast update.Besides,these micro courses are classified in accordance with the textbook versions and different chapters.Meanwhile,the design and fabrication of micro curriculum are completed by outstanding teachers and video production technical staff together.Therefore,the author carefully selected the second section of fourth chapter of "temperature and precipitation" in junior middle school geography of Grade seven about Hunan edition and its excellent micro curriculum resources,which are applied to the junior high school geography classroom teaching,and the class is evaluated later.The results show that the micro curriculum used in geography teaching is helpful to improve the students' enthusiasm in the geography classroom,and at the same time,students like to study the knowledge by joining in the study of micro video in the classroom,and are willing to repeatedly watch the related video micro consolidate classroom knowledge after class to assist their learning geography;following that,it is worth noting that there will appear many problems in the process of using the micro courses such as micro courses involved in the focus of knowledge refining lack of systematic.In view of this situation,the teachers can use mind mapping to systematize the geographic knowledge and cultivate students' comprehensive thinking ability;last but not least,micro curriculum research has broad prospects.
