Research On Campus Violence In Urban Junior High Schools

School violence means the act of force which happens in the schools and its surroundings,violates the physical bodies and property of teachers and students and leads to some negative psychological effects on them.And junior high school students,at the period of physical and mental development,are prone to extreme behaviors,especially the ones in urban areas.They live in small and medium-sized cities where they can neither enjoy preferential policies like students in first-tier cities nor have the land security for living like kids in rural areas.Therefore,affected by stress and influences from family,school,society and other aspects,this group has developed a unique growing courses,and formed the violence with its own characteristics.Through methodologies like literature,interview and questionnaire,this paper studies school violence based on statistics of the gender,grade,only-one child family and health condition of students in junior high schools,hoping to summarize the present situation and the manifestation of school violence and analyze the causes of it.Finally,according to the analysis,this thesis puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from different perspectives.This article innovatively uses labeling theory to study intervention on the school violence,which may improve the study of school violence,making it more practical and be helpful to the reduction of school violence.
