Casework Involved In The Study Of Family Integration Of Inter-provincial Women

Since the reform and opening up,the number of daughter-in-law across provinces has been rising,and it has become an indispensable group for studies in demography and sociology.Changes in the living environment brings a lot of problems including new employment issues,relationships between mothers and children,wife and husband,child support and education,etc.These are all new challenges whether they are handled properly or not is directly related to the quality of family integration across provincial daughter-in-law.How to use the advantages of case work to solve the family integration problem of inter-provincial daughter-in-law has become an urgent matter to be resolved.In this study,questionnaires and interviews were conducted to investigate the family integration status of the inter-provincial daughter-in-law in B district of Jizhou District,Ji'an City.The results of the survey were statistically analyzed the status and outstanding issues of the daughter-in-law,and selected two representative inter-provincial daughter-in-law for case involvement.This study uses case work talks and communication techniques to carry out service activities.During the first two interviews in the early stage of the activity,it investigated the owner's personal information and family information,and in-depth understanding of the conflicts between the case owner and the rest of the family.Then,targeted face-to-face help for the problems faced by the case.The casework communication skills were used to subtly resolve the conflicts between the case's owners and the rest of the family and to ease the tension between the two parties.In the later stages of the service,the caseworkers evaluated the process and results of the service which shows that the case work effectively helped the owner solve the problem of family integration.Based on case work practices,According to the results of the two pragmatic cases in this study,after the intervention of the casework,the contradictions between the inter-provincial daughter-in-law and other members of the family in the two cases were significantly eased,the communication became smooth,and the empathetic thinking could be given.The respect that the other party should have has eliminated the inner estrangement between the two parties,eased the contradiction between the two,promoted the internal harmony of the owner of the case,and significantly improved the degree of integration between the owner and the family.After the completion of the case work,the author conducted a comprehensive review of the work process:(1)Lack of casework experience and incomplete consideration of issues;(2)There is room for further improvement in the application of case-specific methodological skills;(3)The better use of communication theory is the basis for the smooth development of the case work.(4)The theoretical knowledge and skills of the casework profession cannot be applied freely,and there is still much room for improvement.
