At the end of the twentieth Century,the application of modern information technology in the field of education,which differs from the traditional education model of education:Modern Distance Education,breaking the old perceptions which people rely on for a thousand of teacher and education.Modern distance education implements zero distance,open,independent,individualized education,so anyone can accept education again at any time for further study for all members of society.Therefore,it has become an inevitable choice for the concept of lifelong education practice in each country.The Ministry of education in China started a pilot project on the development of Modern Distance Education in 1998.The pilot universities made a great attempt for the development of Modern Distance Education in our country.They have made a series of research of school-running model,teaching model and learning support service system design and so on,so that had made substantial achievement and provided more people with the opportunity to receive higher education.The implementation of Modern Distance Education cultivated many outstanding talents for our country,to have a high quality learning experience,has been a thorny issue,due to the adult students cannot full adopt autonomous learning mode.Therefore,in order to make the adult students adapt to this new form of education,it is a must to construct the Modern Distance Education autonomous learning mode especially for the adult learning,so that every adult in the service of information technology can achieve autonomy and autonomous learning.There are two types of people made up the Modern Distance Education students,one is in school,the other is adult.The latter accounted for the majority of the students.This research is also focus on the adult learner.This thesis is analyzed the basic requirements of autonomous learning through research and summarizes the favorable and unfavorable conditions for adult autonomous learning in modern distance.Then this thesis carries out questionnaire which combines internal and external factors of the modern distance education,so as to find the hidden problems in the process of adult autonomous learning,and finally it puts forward some constructions strategies solving the problems which occurs in the adult autonomous modern distance education model.This study is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction.This part introduces the background of the research,identifies the aim and significance of the research.Combine with the analysis of current domestic and foreign studies,so that it points out the important and innovative parts of this thesis.In the end of this part,this thesis gives the definitions of related concepts,and further the knowledge of the key concepts that needed to grasp in composing this thesis.The second part is the theoretical basis.This part analyzes the autonomous learning theory on the basis of the four learning theory,and provides a theoretical guide for the construction of autonomous learning mode.Among which the independent learning theory clarifies the essence and connotation of autonomous learning,two-way interaction theory as the research model provides the design principle of the guidance,constructivism offers macro guidance for the construction and the operation of the mode,lifelong education theory refers to the penetration of each link of the practice of the mode.The third part is the overview of adult students for autonomous learning.This part includes three aspects:First,it states the basic requirements of autonomous learning and points out the direction for the training of adult students' autonomous learning ability;The second aspect is the condition analysis remote face on adult students'autonomous learning conditions were discussed,which laid the foundation for the optimization of network learning environment;The third aspect is the analysis of the influencing factors of autonomous learning.It analyzed the internal and external factors in the process of adult autonomous learning and provides reference for the design of the questionnaire in the following part.The fourth part is investigation and problem analysis of the modern distance education of adult students autonomous learning situation.According to the internal and external influencing factors of adult learning,this thesis designs the questionnaires,and it conducts statistical processing in the form of data.Then it carries out the in-depth analysis of problems facing in the current adult distance autonomous learning.The fifth part is the construction of modern distance education of adult students autonomous learning strategies.The design principles,overall framework,factor analysis,operation mechanism and specific practice methods were discussed,providing a complete set of strategies for the construction of autonomous learning mode of the distance education.
