Recently,it slowly changes the development process of PE teaching because the proportion of exam scores presents continuous increase in the senior high school entrance examination.The emerging changes in sports affect the PE teaching method.Therefore,instructors and learners should adjust their teaching and learning method to suit the different situation.Instructors should increase learners' learning desire and interest for PE class.Learners should combine the theory with application and participate in the PE activities.It is imperative to achieve overall progress of quality education and lay a good foundation for life long learning of PE.The paper tries to discuss the effectiveness of learning-instructive-type teaching method in PE teaching of junior high school with literature study;questionnaire;teaching experiment;statistics and logical analysis.On theoretical aspect,this paper gives clear definition,teaching procedures and the practical implication of learning-instructive-type teaching method.On the empirical study,the purpose is to investigate the efficiency of learning-instructive-type teaching method for improving students' performance in PE class.The participants come from two classes of grade one of Gan Li school in Shen Zhen.One class is experimental class that teaches with learning-instructive-type method.Another one is control class that teaches with regular teaching method.Before experiment,the author analyses their physical qualities and their interests to PE class.Results indicate that there is no significant difference between two classes.To ensure the scientificity and effectiveness of the experiment,both classes are taught by author with equal in duration,teaching progress,and teaching content.After 16 weeks,the author conducts a comparative analysis between the experimental class and the control class in students' physical quality,learning interests and the performance of technological movements.The main findings are as following:Firstly,there is no significant difference in students' physical quality between experimental class and control class after t-test(P>0.05).That is to say,learning-instructive-type teaching method has no significant effect on the improvement of students' physical quality.Secondly,in terms of learning interest,there is significant difference between experimental class and the control class(P<0.05).Students in the experimental class are significantly higher than those in control class.Indicating that leaming-instructive-type teaching method can increase students' learning interests for PE,and cultivate their learning motivation.Thirdly,in the test of technological movements,through the analysis of t-test,the results show that there is significant difference(P<0.05)between two classes in the ability of passing balls and single-handed shooting in walkin.While there is no significant difference(P>0.05)in single-handed shooting between two classes.In general,the students' achievement of the experimental class is better than the control class.In the improvement of students' technological movements,learning-instructive-type teaching method is better than traditional teaching method.Lastly,learning-instructive-type teaching method has its own teaching procedures:self-study,solving questions,intensive lecture and practice.In the class with learning-instructive-type teaching method,students' learning and teachers' instruction are throughout PE class.However,for the application of learning-instructive-type teaching method still at the initial stage of exploration.So there are some problems exist in teaching.Therefore,the author provides following suggestions for future PE teaching of the learning-instructive-type teaching method:First of all,for the application of learrning-instructive-type teaching method,teachers should arrange different class depending on different situations and applying creativity in practical ways.What's more,the teaching procedure of learning-instructive-type method is continuously developing and making innovations,so teachers should not apply mechanically method into their classes.Teachers should teach from students'perspective,guiding students to discover and solve the problems by themselves,activating the classroom atmosphere,and promoting the interaction between the teachers and the students.So that it can overcome formalism in the teaching process and support the cultivation of sports reserve talents.Next,a key point of learning-instructive-type method advocates students-centered teaching and teachers as guiders.Thus,teachers should renew and reflect ourselves consistently,and improve our professional knowledge.In the teaching,teachers should teach students in accordance with their aptitude and improve our teaching method according to the progress of teaching.After that,teachers can totally devote our professional knowledge to PE teaching.Besides,in the application of learning-instructive-type method,PE teacher can discuss with other subjects' teachers,and borrow experience from other subjects.Teachers should keep innovation and optimize the teaching content and teaching methods.And provide some beneficial force for the overall development of PE teaching and students.
