Poetries have always been as one of the important parts in Chinese traditional culture.As for elementary students,who are in their best ages to learn new knowledge,would have gained benefits from the poetries which can be very useful in their future,if they spend more time on learning poetries and think about what they can learn after.As for the teachers of elementary school,the most important part for them is about how to teach their students efficiently as well as improving Chinese culture teaching proficiency.In the first part of this article I will analyze the poems in Shanghai Textbooks and give a brief conclusion about characteristics of difference kinds of poetries.Besides that,I will make a brief comparison with the poems in Education Department Version Textbooks.Secondly,I will have a research and interviews on different teachers and students in three different schools.And I will give some suggestions based on the interviews.Thirdly,I will offer some suggestions for the teaching based on some of the famous teachers' personal instances.I will focus on the instances with the same topic,then figure out what can be improved.In addition,I will make a teaching plan and description according to the suggestions.In the end,I will introduce my designed teaching instance which is made based on the school.I will give some personal opinions about how to expand the poetry teaching according to the school curriculum,which can be used as the supplement of the poetry teaching.
