Pan Zhensheng's Music Education Research

Pan Zhensheng is a very famous contemporary Chinese composer of children’s songs in China modern music history.In his lifetime,he published thousands of children’s songs.The most important work of his including A Penny,The Little Duck,Good Mother,Where Is The Spring,Motherland Motherland We Love You etc.Especially Where Is The Spring has become world famous music in the world’s children song.Pan Zhensheng has made an outstanding contribution to children’s songs,known as “King of Children’s Songs”.His works enjoy a relatively high research value,both in music art and in children education.According to children’s songs and life activities of Pan Zhensheng,it firstly analyzes the characteristics of the carrier of his educational thoughts,the children’s song.Secondly,it analyzes the educational characteristics in his works.Then,it analyzes the educational thoughts and creation view of Pan himself.At last,it makes a comparison with current music education and the creation of children’s songs to find some enlightenment.The dissertation falls into seven chapters.The first chapter is introduction,expounding the reason and a review of literature.In the second chapter,Pan’s life activities has been described.In the third and fourth chapter,the characteristics of the carrier of his children’s song and the educational characteristics have been analyzed.In the fifth chapter,Pan’s educational thoughts and creation view have been analyzed.In the sixth chapter,the enlightenment from Pan’s music education has been discussed.The last chapter is epilogue.This dissertation is the educational research of Pan Zhensheng and his children’s songs,The final objective of this dissertation is to serve as a modest spur to induce more artists to pay attention to Pan Zhensheng and his works,to pay attention to the children’s songs and musical education of children.
