A person's understanding and application often be referred to written language as reading literacy.It is valuable to the society or at least for individuals.Readers can learn knowledge in the process of reading.This basic ability is formed in childhood.If a child can develop good literacy in childhood,it will be pretty helpful for children to learn in the future.It is not only a child's learning needs,but also directly related to children's future life,work or survival level.Only by reading can a person improve his appreciation ability,so as to fully understand and accept the information it contacts,and to improve and satisfy the mental state of the person.The purpose of this study is to improve reading literacy.It takes the practice system of Chinese textbooks as a breakthrough,and adopts the PIRLS2016 reading evaluation framework to evaluate the reading practice system provided by the two versions of the Human Teaching and Macmillan Editions.After a multiple level evaluation and analysis of the selected articles and exercises,conclusions and inspirations are drawn,which will lead to other researchers' thinking.The main contents of each chapter are as follows:Chapter 1 mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the research,and defines the concepts involved.It also conducts systematic research and literature review on PIRLS,textbook exercises and primary school Chinese textbook exercises under the framework of PIRLS2016.Chapter 2 is the research design,which introduces the research object and research framework.Especially for the setting of the research framework,it designs the frequency statistics table of the exercises,explains the code of the exercises,the correspondence of the text,the title and the frame.Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 are the process and analysis of the research.It makes a concrete analysis of the specific purpose and process of understanding,and compares the Chinese with the Macmillan version of Treasures.Chapter 5 is the conclusion and Enlightenment.According to the analysis,it concludes the similarities and differences between the two versions,and summarizes the existing problems in the practice design of Chinese language textbooks.It also points out the reference significance of PIRLS2016 and the Macmillan edition of theAmerican textbooks,and puts forward some suggestions and enlightening problems to solve the present situation.The value of this research is to master the specific direction of reading practice in current Chinese textbooks.Compared with the direction of the international reading assessment framework and the American Macmillan edition textbooks,to see if the evaluation of the practice system in the textbook is scientific and reasonable.The students can improve their reading literacy by reading the practice system,and try to optimize the reading practice,in order to find a better way to improve the students' reading quality.
