Research On Program Management Of Kang Tai Company Base On OCM

The fast development of Light area in the incoming 21 th century will result in the worry of the lack of the energy source. As a result, The LED lighting products have attracted people's attention since 10 years ago because of its low power consume. Kang Tai international company stands out among other lighting companies due to its wonderful creativity and effort. A large number of international companies trend to search low cost product but with the brand of OEM or ODM in current industrial society, and this situation is very common because it can decrease the development cost, speed the development period, shorten the transportation time, guarantee the good quality, make the release possible within very short time.This thesis takes a real project as an example via researching a new intelligent control design project from Kang Tai, based on the knowledge of multiple projects management, combined with the work practice of author in projects to explain how Kang Tai to manage lots of projects via OCM model. It firstly details the background of Kang Tai and the status of LED lighting industry, then compared with the process that how the new products are instructed and executed with the OEM model, after that the author not only pays more importance about how to plan product, establish it, split cost, design hardware and structure, produce trials and samples with small scale, test about quality, produce mass trial, and the completely release to the customers with the OCM model, but also introduce how to run OCM model in projects management, such as what should be pay attention to, what is its optimized design; at last this thesis presents some advices and strategy in projects management with OCM model of Kang Tai.This thesis combined with the knowledge of projects management, to describe for a qualified manager how to coordinate the project team in order to satisfy the progress, cost and quality requirement via comparing and exampling methods. At the same time, This example can also be used to explain the importance of OCM produce model in modern design and manufacture. It can be treated as the reference to some extent to the other international companies or big local companies.
