Research On Controllability Of Lean Production System Based On Entropy Theory

The effective allocation of production resource is an important embodiment of the competitiveness of enterprises.The optimum combination of factors,which means putting the production factors in right time,scale and proportion,can help to form a stable productivity.But in fact,there exists the law of entropy in production factors' flow,namely,the harmful states increase with the pour of kinds of resource such as human,machine,material,method and environment: the factors are addicted to seeking their freedom,and the running is out of balance.The final result is the increase of system's degree of disorder.When the entropy threshold appears,some reform of organization should be made timely and some positive information and energy management should be put into the system to make it controlled again.The improvement process of lean production is a powerful and positive-energy intervention in system by the refined management of factors.The lean thinking of eliminating waste decreases the expand of factors' unnecessary scale,and the constraint of JIT,Jidoka,and Standardization,helps to the factors' collaborative management,which can prevent the factors' states from migration and friction,finally we'll get a coordinate,ordered,and controlled system operation.So this study tries to demonstrate the lean productions' performance in a new view: the factors' management based on entropy theory.Firstly,this paper gives an application review of entropy theory and lean thinking in production system.Then the frameworks of these two concepts are introduced in order to lay a solid foundation for the following study.Thirdly,it makes a reform on the traditional performance evaluation methods of lean production: from the perspective of factors' management.The entropy evaluation index system about human,machine,material,method and environment is established,on this basis,how the lean production brings the negative entropy is introduced,such as the flatization and flexiblization of personnel organization,the teamwork for improvement,total involvement of mechanical equipment's maintenance,the control of material's flow route,the intergration of production network,the 5S management of working environment,etc.Finally,combined with cases,through the entropy comparison of D company before and after the lean improvement,it demonstrates the superiority of lean production in system optimization and enhancement of controllability,and it also provides a theoretical basis for the enterprise to lunch the lean production.
