A Study On The Potential Of Rural Land Renovation Of Bazhou District, Bazhong Administrative Region

Land renovation is not only a method of amending cultivated land,it also increases the value of the land,and is an important way of using the land economically and intensively.In this situation,research on rural land renovation has important theoretical and practical significance.With the rapid development of socio-economic standards,the demand for construction land is increasing,the contradiction between people and land have also become increasingly prominent.To soften the conflict between production development and resource protection,the government has established a policy that regulates both construction and renovation.Rural land renovation refers to the comprehensive renovation of farmland,water,road,forest,village and housing,with regards to the inefficient and unreasonable use of rural land,in order to increase the area and quality of cultivated land,as well as improve rural living conditions and the use of land in the ecosystem.This is an effective method in developing the modern agricultural produce industry and constructing a new socialist rural area.Study on the regulation of land renovation abroad focuses on four aspects: 1)land renovation and changes in landscaping;2)land renovation and changes in biodiversity;3)land renovation and changes in soil and water;as well as 4)land renovation and the development of the countryside.In rural residential renovation,where detailed attention is placed on the protection of landscape design and ecological environment,the aim is to improve the productivity and living conditions of farmers,and improve agriculture competition ability.Rural residential renovation,drawing on foreign experiences while based on national conditions,in order to optimize the layout of land use and promote the intensive use of land as the goal,is focused on effectively and individually tapping into the potential of the scattered and inefficient rural residential area.This paper,on the basis of related theories on land renovation,starts off describing the natural conditions,socio-economic status and current land use of Bazhou district before its division in to two parts.It then analyzes the problems present in the land renovation work before the division of Bazhou district.The focus of the research on land renovation potential of Bazhou district(pre-division)is on agricultural land and rural residential land use,while the center of agricultural land is cultivated land.The calculated potential of cultivated land renovation can be processed to increase area of cultivated land,as well as increase productivity of cultivated land after renovation.Calculations show that the area of additional cultivated land after agricultural renovation in Bazhou district is around 12,253 hectares.The original cultivated land after renovation can increase productivity by 97809.75 tons,while newly added cultivated land can provide 79251.03 tons of food supplies,this come to a total of 177060.78 tons of increased productivity.The renovation potential of rural residential land use is formed with the statistics from calculating the theoretical potential,target year potential,renovation policy potential,and urban and rural construction land use potential.This then gives the characteristics of the residential land use renovation.The theoretical potential of rural residential land use renovation of Bazhou district(pre-division)is 3540.5 hectares,the target year potential is 7700.3 hectares,the renovation policy potential is 2290.17 hectares,and the policy potential rate is 1.85.Based on the comprehensive conditions(types of topography,focus of comprehensive land renovation,and consistency of land use)of Bazhou district(pre-division),the comprehensive land renovation is divided into three areas: 1)the agricultural developmental land of the west,south and east;2)the industrial developmental land of the central area;and 3)the forestry land of the north.Suggestions on the direction of renovation for each area are made.This paper calculates the economical efficiency after the renovation of cultivated land,and analyzes the social efficiency of rural residential renovation.Improving the quality of the original cultivated land can increase productivity by 227.605 million RMB,newly added cultivated land can increase productivity by 178.733 million RMB.Finally,suggestions are recommended to maintain the area of cultivated land,to increase the quality of cultivated land,renovation pattern of residential areas,and the emphasis of rural land renovations in the future.
