Analysis Of Inbound Tourism Efficiency Based On DEA

With the improvement of urban comprehensive strength and the environment,as well as the completion of all kinds of facilities and service facilities,city has become a tourist reception center which is not only an important tourist destination.With highly developed tourism industry,New York,London,Paris,Tokyo have been the most famous tourist city.And with the development of China's urban economic,there has been a number of international metropolis,such as Hong Kong,Macau,Beijing,Shanghai,etc.Although most of cities in our country every year invest enormous resources to develop the tourism,they gain few and the efficiency of urban tourism has been low.There have been many studies about tourism efficiency in our country,so this paper decides to analyze the efficiency of inbound tourism.The main method is data envelopment method(DEA).It plans to calculate the efficiency according to data of each metric,and then analyzes the change characteristics and spatial distribution characteristics,finally put s forward the strategies of the entry tourism efficiency.The conclusion of the paper is:(1)The inbound tourism efficiency of Hong Kong and Macao is effective;Taipei and other seven cities in mainland are not effective.(2)The technical efficiency values of 10 cities are similar,and the scale efficiency values vary widely,so the comprehensive efficiency value is affected by scale efficiency value more significant.(3)From 2009 to 2013,the efficiency of 10 cities is in a state of growth.That with the increase of urban tourism investment,their efficiency of inbound tourism value is rising.(4)The efficiency of the southeast coastal area of cities IS higher than that of the central and western regions.The economic level is higher,the higher the efficiency of the city.Different from previous research,this paper from the perspective of inbound tourism city,some of the international metropolis of China efficiency value is calculated.As much as possible on the selection of indicators at the same time,also reflect the international nature of the city.
