Nowadays,with the rapid development of logistics technology,there are more and more emerging industries choose stereoscopic warehouse for storage,but a lot of traditional industries are still using traditional warehouse or some simple-shelf storage.In this paper,the author studies on a certain daily chemical articles' warehouse,which is using traditional planar shelves for storage.As for those who want to seek the breakthrough of improving picking efficiency in the original storage environment,a reasonable slotting allocation strategy apparently becomes very important.In academic research,scholars have put forward many slotting allocation strategies,mainly include first in first out strategy,light over weight strategy,allocation by roadway' partition,etc.According to the analysis of orders' structure and the warehouse' status,this paper has studied the slotting allocation strategies for a certain daily chemical articles' warehouse combined with the association analysis and the matching degree between SKU and its slot.Then,put forward the impact factors innovatively so as to provide the basis of studying a similar problem in the future.This paper firstly introduces the status of the certain daily chemical articles'warehouse,analyzes the picking process of the picking area.Then,illustrates the influences of slotting allocation strategy for picking efficiency of the system.After that,expounds the current slotting allocation strategy for warehouse,constructs the mathematical model by analyzing problems,regards the picking-walking distance as the standard of success for slotting allocation strategy.And proposes static or dynamic slotting allocation strategy based on SKU's output quantity and correlation rules.Describes the algorithm,steps and flowchart of different strategies detailedly.Finally,simulates different slotting allocation strategy combining with the real order data and put forward feasible suggestions through analyzing and comparing the results.According to the simulation analysis,this paper concluded the descending order of optimization for slotting allocation strategy,that is static slotting allocation strategy based on output quantity and association;dynamic slotting allocation strategy based on output quantity and association;dynamic slotting allocation strategy based on output quantity;static slotting allocation strategy based on output quantity.In practice,however,if we are using a single slotting allocation strategy,static slotting allocation strategy based on output quantity and association will be the most efficiency optimization strategy in a short term.But for the long-term operations of the warehouse,frequently operating the strategy will consumed a lot.And it will lead to a lack in flexible changes along with the change of order requirements if we operate that strategy infrequently.So,we suggest that we can operate the static slotting allocation strategy based on output quantity and association for the beginning,keep to adjust some SKU for dynamic adjustment to save operating consume under the premise of achieving dynamic optimal picking efficiency.
