With the deepening of global economic int egration,China's social economy and international status has been greatly improved,so that more and more foreign students like to choose tour study in China.The increase of the number of the foreign students studying in China is an important symbol of th e opening degree of a city.What's more,it is also an important indicator of the universities internationalization development level,and even an important emblem of cultural exchange internationalization.With the gradually breakdown of the international tourism market,the tourism trend is developing to special tourism.studying tourism,as a new demand of tourism consumers,has been widely seen.Under the leading of international-domestic trend and fashion,study tour has gradually been paid more attention in our country.In recent years,the number of foreign students who choose to study tour in Hohhot,a western border city in China,has been also increasing.However,compared with the first-line developed cities,the gap is still very large.In order to minimize this gap and take practical measures,it is quite necessary to study the influencing factors of foreign students study tour in Hohhot.Through sorting out and organnizing the concept of domestic-foreign study tour and related theoretical knowle dge,we designed the questionnaire from the driving factors and influencing factors of study tour of Hohhot.A field investigation for foreign students in colleges and universities in Hohhot were conducted from September 2016 to December 2016.the collected data were processed by using factor analysis,variance analysis and other quantitative methods,and meanwhile SPSS data processing software and Excel are used in this paper to deal with the collected questionnaires.It is concluded that the top three dri ving factors of foreign students choosing Hohhot are “The interests of learning Chinese" and "Higher scholarships" and "The lower tuition and the lower threshold to be applied ".Their mean values are 4.12,4.03,and 3.59 respectively.We have extracted five common factors from the influencing factors of foreign students,namely,"e conomic environment","cultural and educational","individual wishes","personal accomplishment demand" and "external driving force",the contribution rate of these f ive factors respectively are,32.73%,9.255%,7.168%,6.019%,5.704%,and the final cumulative contribution rate is 60.87%.From the driving force factors,we conclude that foreign student are more sensitive to the price,there for we should promote our strengths from low tuition and high scholarships.In addition,publicity of our cultural advantages should be promoted to attract more students.As for influencing factors,the economic l evel,urban living environment,two countries' economic and trade,university awareness,destination city image,city opening degree,cultural and educational cooperation and other factors are main reasons in Hohhot students studying tourism market.In view of these factors,combined with the current situation and the problems in the market development in Hohhot,the government and relevant departments should increase the capital investment,strengthen the city construction,increase propaganda and so on to improve the city image of Hohhot;Education departments should provide a platform for cooperation and exchange between universities at home and abroad.At the same time,colleges and universities should improve their level of international education,cooperate closely with tourism enterprises,and make some suggestions for the further deepening of Hohhot students' study and tourism market.
