Benefit from China's nearly 20 years of fast economic growth of demand,Non-ferrous industry expands capacity rapidly.But in recent years,influenced by the international and domestic economic situation,the commodity prices represented by copper,continued to be in the doldrums.The competition between China's copper industry is also increasingly fierce,as the largest copper smelting plant in China even in global world,GY Company takes full advantage of QC group activities,Closely around the business strategy,Policy goals,and Site problems,set improving quality,reducing consumption,improving staff quality and economic benefits as goals,make use of quality management theory and method to implement activities,make great contributions to “cost saving and productivity improvement ”for enterprises.Develop and train the technical and management personnel at the same time for enterprises.This article bases on the domestic and international quality management development and the present situation,expatiate the related theories and methods of quality control,quality improvement,QC group,and statistical tools,take "the electrolysis remnant pole rate" QC group activities as an example which carried out by GY company,The QC team is focused on the goal of reducing the residual rate of electrolysis,adopt various types of quality management methods and statistical tools for analysis of the status quo,find the main cause,formulate and implement countermeasures,and effect evaluation of the whole process,Introduced how the GY company through the QC group to achieve " cost saving and productivity improvement " by quality improvement.This paper has practical guidance meaning for the current same type industry or enterprises which are in trouble.
