An article couldn't have been flowed through from generation to generation without literary grace;likewise,an enterprise couldn't have been around for a very long time without culture.An enterprise without culture just like a person without soul,the enterprise management and business will be directly promoted by outstanding culture and be adversely affected by bad culture.This paper did a research on the culture in XF Company by using the organizational culture value tool,OCAI,which is built by Robert E.Quinn and Kim S.Cameron,on the base of related theories of organizational culture,organizational culture values and diagnostic tools of organizational culture.The survey used a random sample of employees to fill out the questionnaire and all of employees to answer questions in interviews.According to the answers from questionnaires and interviews,the writer drew an outline drawing where the culture in XF Company is described to measure the culture in different four ways: tribal,temporary system type,hierarchical type,and the market.And the culture in XF Company also was described in different six types: characteristics,leadership style,cohesion,management,strategic point,and success criteria.By the method of qualitative and quantitative analysis in the whole paper,evaluation of the whole organization culture and the expectations of organizational culture type were analyzed from different levels of employees(management and basic staff in the workshop)in the interviews,at the same time,the characteristics of the enterprise culture and problems were also comprehensively analyzed by combing with opinions and suggestions about human resources,salary system,the working environment,which is given by the employees.According the analysis,it is found that the type of culture in XF Company is market dominated,which means the company have rich resources,with a strategic offensive attitude,focus on changes of the external environment in the market,especially on competitiveness and productivity.And the company survives in the competitive market by improving its scientific development and technology.However,there is a lack of the sense of identity and cohesion for the employees who work in the company;most of employees have no strong loyalty for the company.And the employees hope that the company could put employees first and care for employees more.Subject to the analysis and diagnosis,with SWOT,the writer affirmed the essence of the culture and gave the advice on the next establishment of the culture based on the characteristic of the Company,which is separated from an old state-owned company,as bellows: to strengthen the execution of the system as the theoretical basis and guarantee of cultural construction;to increase the cohesion by strengthening the tem construction;to establish effective relationship by building the people-oriented theory.At the same time,the specific measures related the above three advice also provided so as to give reference for the cultural construction in the XF Company in the future.
