Research On The Social Security Of Land-lost Farmers During The Urbanization Process

When the productive forces develop to a certain stage,the emergence of urbanization has become an inevitable phenomenon.The urbanization will become the strongest boost of China’s economic development and national rejuvenation.A lot of land-lost farmers emerge during the process of urbanization,because a large amount of agricultural land transits to non-agricultural land.The legal interest of land-lost farmers has not been effectively protected for various reasons.After they lost their land,they can’t find appropriate job and enjoy equal social insurance.They are at the bottom of society.Life becoming hard makes they became a burgeoning vulnerable group besides migrant workers.Social security for land-lost farmers’establishment is directly related to China’s socialist modernization can be successfully achieved or not.If the problem of land-lost farmers’social insurance can be solved properly,it can directly promote the development of China’s economy and the establishment of harmonious society.At present,the main measures which government takes to solve the problems of land-lost farmers’ social insurance are to provide cash compensation.However,their long-term development is ignored.Many land-lost farmers can not find a suitable job after the land was conscripted,so their future life is deeply influenced by the poverty.The problem of land-lost farmers,social insurance will exist for a very long time in the process of urbanization.These problems can not be ignored,our governments at all levels should take it as an urgent and important task and make them be properly solved.Different measures for solving land-lost farmers’ social insurance in different regions at home and abroad have been analyzed and compared in the thesis to put forward countermeasures and suggestions.The thesis is divided into six chapters:the first chapter introduces background and significance of the research of land-lost farmers’ social insurance.In the chapter,the research status in quo at home and abroad was also be introduced.The second chapter introduces the basic concepts and theoretical basis,including the concept of urbanization,and social security as well as land revenue and other theories.Those concepts and theories are the basis of further studies of land-lost farmers’ social insurance.The third chapter analyzes the reasons for putting forward the land-lost farmers’ social security issues,introducing China’s current measures taken to promote social security of land-lost farmers.Several typical land-lost farmers social security model have also been discussed.The fourth chapter presents shortcomings of the current social security of land-lost farmers in existence,analyzing the reasons for the shortcomings.The fifth chapter puts forward several suggestions for completing the land-lost farmers’ social insurance at the basis of analyzing full-fledged measures taken in developed countries.The final chapter is a summary of the thesis.
