China is the world's largest pork production and consumption country,However,in recent years,live pig industry is faced with the problem of high cost,quality and safety culture is difficult to guarantee,control ability is poor,the imbalance of supply and demand,disease,so that the level of competitiveness of pork industry in China is relatively low.Pig breeding industry as a starting point the pork industry chain,the key points of how to improve the competitiveness level of pig breeding link so as to realize the reasonable health research and development is still the swine industry.The theory research and the practice results show that the professional farmers cooperatives play a positive role in improving the competitiveness of agricultural products,increase farmer income level.However,from a practical point of view,the growth of farmers' professional cooperatives in many regions in the blind pursuit of "quantity" to the neglect of cooperatives qualitative rise,for not understanding of professional farmers cooperatives in enhancing the market competitiveness of the role of pig.From the theoretical point of view,the existing research on farmer professional cooperatives is more than the effect of adding and not adding cooperative on competitiveness of agricultural products of household income,the simple discussion,and research cooperative management measures for many key figures of cooperatives,ignoring members opportunistic behavior regulation.In this study,farmers' professional cooperative as the research object,to serve the function of farmer specialized cooperatives and management measures as the breakthrough point,on the basis of literature and on-the-spot investigation,first to the management measures,defines the service function,service function and management measures of farmer specialized cooperative society from the theory on the mechanism of action in the promotion of pig the market competitiveness of.Then by using data from the survey,construction of structural equation model,empirical analysis of the impact of service function and management measures of farmer professional cooperatives to hog market competitiveness.On this basis,find out the deficiency in raising pig market competitiveness of the current professional farmers cooperatives in our country,then put forward the related policy suggestion.Theoretically,the service function of pig farming cooperative include prenatal agricultural services,agricultural services,property in the sales service as well as the entire financing services,and the current functional constraints on the pig farming cooperative members is more on the quality and safety management of breeding behavior.Among them,the prenatal agricultural services mainly through centralized bulk procurement,strict quality control to reduce agricultural materials procurement costs,ensure the quality of the members of agricultural means of production to improve the level of market competitiveness of pig;production in agricultural services mainly through epidemic disease prevention and control to reduce the mortality and improve the quality of live pigs to raise the level of competitiveness in the market of live pigs;post sale service mainly through brand and channel construction in order to obtain a higher selling price so as to improve the level of the competition of the whole financing services;it can help farmers to lower the cost of access to needed funds support,so as to enhance the level of competitiveness in the market of live pigs.Farmer professional cooperative binding mechanism is mainly through the supervision of the production safety members behavior to reduce the illegal addition of"lean",the possibility of drugs such as antibiotics,so as to ensure the safety of pork quality level.The empirical analysis the following conclusions can be obtained by using the structural equation model:1,professional farmers cooperatives prenatal agricultural services,agricultural production in service,post sale service and the level of quality and safety management are positive relationship and competition level of hog market;2,these four factors on the influence degree of live pig market competitiveness of descending order:prenatal agricultural services,production agriculture services,post sale service and quality safety management;there was a significant relationship between 3,cooperative service function and service function and management measures.Based on the theoretical and empirical analysis results,this study from the expanded range,agricultural services to improve prenatal produced in agricultural service ability,strengthen the brand and the informationization construction and strengthen the quality and safety management and puts forward related suggestions on the development of farmers'professional cooperatives.
