Research On The Development Of Film-induced Tourism In Xiandu Zhejiang

Film-induced tourism began in 1950s in the United States,started in 1980s then in China,then it spring up vigorously.Film-induced tourism is a new form of tourism,it promote and drive the development of tourism through the dissemination of film and television works.Then the visibility and influence of tourism destination was improved substantially to create considerable economic benefit.The movie-induced tourism has been developed earlier in foreign countries and achieved the remarkable effect.Film-induced tourism developed rapidly since China established the first film city in 1987.Although Zhejiang is full of film tourism resources because of Hengdian World Studios,the development of Xiandu Scenic Areathe is relatively backward.Xiandu Scenic Areathe is developing slowly because it's lacking of infrastructure construction,competitive pressure,weaking in cultural transmission and influence of film and television works,lacking of follow-up development of film and television works.However,Xiandu Scenic Areathe attracted a lot of crew to shoot because of beautiful scenery which trengthen our determination to build "Xiandu Natural Film City".Compared with the practical development of film-induced tourism,theoretical research is relatively less.The paper refers to a lot of literature and deeply studies on the basic theory of film-induced tourism in order to guide the development of Xiandu film-induced tourism which is practical and in line with its own characteristics.Meanwhile,Xiandu film-induced tourism will develop rapidly based on the influence of film and television culture.This thesis consists of six chapters.First part is the introduction of the background of Film-induced tourism points out that tourism has better prospects for development after the 13th Five-year Plan.It is more significant for the research on the development of Film-induced tourism,and also promote the transformation of tourism in Xiandu.The thesis research makes the significance and theoretical basis clear by the analysis of the difficulties,innovation during the development of Xiandu and the trends of domestic and international research about Film-induced tourism.Second part study on the concept,characteristic and current situation of Film-induced tourism.Third part analysis the resources and development of Film-induced tourism by the method of SWOT.Demonstrate the feasibility of the development of Film-induced tourism in Xiandu.Forth part point out the slowly development,poor infrastructure and the lowly tourist participation in Xiandu by comparing with the successful cases of Hengdian film and TV City.Fifth part put forward suggestion for sustainable development of the development of Film-induced tourism in Xiandu.Sixth part is conclusion and prospect.Summarize the main conclusions of this paper and give out expectation of its future development.
