FAW-Volkswagen in recent years facing the rapid growth of production and cost reduction of the enormous pressure,currently has more than 700 parts suppliers,more than 2,000 general material suppliers.In the face of the upcoming 2020,in order to fully realize the company's "2020 strategy" goal,through the optimization and improvement of supplier management methods to help FAW-Volkswagen continue to optimize the cost of mining quality supplier resources will FAW-Volkswagen procurement strategy The completion of the goal produces a very important role.In this paper,the combination of theoretical research and practice research,first of all in the automotive industry manufacturers Toyota,Volkswagen,General and other procurement model analysis and comparison,for the current FAW-Volkswagen supplier management problems one by one were analyzed and discussed,And in-depth analysis of the causes of the problem.Secondly,in the exploration of supplier management,the author tries to optimize the current organizational structure and optimize the functions of each department.Unified system management platform;Third,from the procurement of parts and general procurement of materials to implement the full implementation of the supplier's life cycle management;Fourth,increase the supplier supply risk assessment.And finally put forward in order to protect the implementation of the optimization program needs from the staff protection,supplier incentives and information systems resources to support these aspects to support.This paper studies the status quo of FAW-Volkswagen's supplier management,from the aspects of component supplier management and general material supplier management.For FAW-Volkswagen,the general size of the material supplier management has been very large,the original simple model has been unable to adapt to the current development and change.Therefore,both the procurement of parts or general material procurement,should establish the supplier's life cycle management mechanism,that is,supplier management is no longer a simple evaluation of scoring,with experience to judge good or bad,but from the supplier access,Supplier day-to-day management,supplier comprehensive evaluation,supplier promotion,supplier elimination and other aspects of management and tracking,so as to enhance the effectiveness of supplier management.Through the research,it is also clear that the realization of the procurement strategy needs to improve the organizational structure and personnel support and improve the information system for data analysis and summary,to achieve resource integration and data analysis,to achieve strategic procurement to provide a strong basis for support.At the same time the face of increasingly complex market environment,the supplier to establish the appropriate risk assessment mechanism to avoid the loss of supply problems.Life cycle procurement management is based on FAW-Volkswagen's existing supplier management approach to discuss how to conduct a supplier of management,to achieve short-term procurement objectives and long-term goals.This method,not only for FAW-Volkswagen but also have some reference for peers.
