Study On Poverty Alleviation In Fuyang City

Poverty is a global issue.China,as a populous country,bears the important task of poverty alleviation.Since the reform and opening up,through the implementation of a series of policies,Chinese poverty alleviation work has achieved great success.Poverty-stricken population is greatly reduced.The infrastructure and living conditions of poor areas continue to improve.The self-development ability of poor people were enhanced.Since 2012,the poverty alleviation work comes into the developed period from large-scale poverty alleviation.The goal of poverty alleviation work is further defined,which is the full realization of all the poor people without worrying about eating and wearing,securing their compulsory education,basic medical care and housing security by 2020.Fuyang,a big agricultural city in Northern AnHui,takes the task of helping 658 thousand people to get rid of poverty,that is 1/6 of the total poverty-stricken population of Anhui province.In order to accomplish this task smoothly,it is necessary to clarify the current situation and tasks,making in-depth survey of current poverty alleviation work,and analyzing the existing problems and causes,and putting forward corresponding countermeasures.The poor rural population faces the poverty on housing,income,education,and other aspects.The government of Fuyang city has adopted a series of assistant measures to the poor,and has made great achievements.However,there are still some people can not get rid of poverty.This paper trys to find some problems that hindered the Fuyang poverty reduction work through the reviewing and analyzing the related date based on the survey of Fuyang city poverty alleviation work.After further research and analysis,combined with actual work experiences,the writer found the crux of the problem.Fuyang poverty alleviation now face many difficulties including helping cadre team construction,the large infrastructure gap in poor areas,lack of basic public service and weak industrial development foundation.These problems need to be focused on and solved the next step.In view of these problems,the author had put forward relevant solutions based on the work experience and the existing data,combined with the relevant principles of public management.The government should increase financial input and actively strive for funds to solve infrastructure short problems,and gradually improve the living conditions of poverty-stricken regions.Improve the poverty alleviation work mechanism.Further clarify the job responsibilities and the whole objective,and establish a scientific evaluation mechanism.Promote the implementation of education and employment for poverty alleviation.Increase the income of the poor people gradually.The write has made great efforts to collect relevant literature,and make deep investigation to find solutions for the problems.which is of crucial importance to the poverty alleviation of Fuyang city.Therefore,this paper has some reference value to solve the main problems in the poverty alleviation work in Fuyang.Due to the limitation of exploration time and lack of reference books,this paper has some shortcomings in the poverty alleviation policy analysis.
