Research On The YD Information Security Company Project Manager Competency Model

The 21st century is an era of competition and change.With the rise of technology-based industries,information network security has become increasingly important.Modern information network security companies began to set up a project team around the information network security project and established the organizational structure.For information network security companies,the importance of project management is also increasing.In the project management,project manager is a key figure in the project,but also an important responsibility point of the project.He plays an important role in the success of the project.In this paper,we put YD Information Security Company as a research object,through the discovery of the current company performance management deficiencies,and then introduce the competency model to solve the management problem.In order to study the competency of the project manager effectively,we adopted the literature review method,the interview method,the questionnaire survey method and the factor analysis method.On the basis of the competency theory at home and abroad,we have collected and compiled the competency elements of the project manager in the information network security company.We planned the interview profile based on the information we have collected,interviewed the project manager of YD Information Security Company and incorporated the results into the survey.And then did the questionnaire survey of employees and managers of YD Information Security Company randomly.Subsequently,we described the statistical analysis of the data first,then used the factor analysis,and got the common factors finally.We named and explained the common factors,so as to establish the project manager competency model of YD Information Security Company.The model includes the flexible processing and adaptability,the organizational leadership and accountability,the analytical thinking and self-control,the knowledge and initiative,the education and influence.On the basis of the model,we also discusses the implementation of the project manager's competency model briefly,hoping to provide some reference for the company.
