Research On Ro-ro Transport And Road Transport's Management Based On Game Model

The RO ro transport has developed rapidly and create a good social and economic benefits since its apperance in 1990 s.However,along with the Shanghai Chongqing Expressway,Shanghai Chengdu high-speed's construction,a large part of goods abandoned RO ro transport and chose highway because of the higher speed.Highway is a strong competitor to RO ro transport and seized the market share of the original ro ro transport in the cargo transport market.RO ro transport companies have also adopted a flexible pricing to deal with challenges.The competition between the two shows a growing trend.This paper describes the current situation of RO ro transportation and road transportation,and analyzes the current situation of the competition between the two.By reading a large number of existing literature on the competition between the two different modes of transportation,the ideas for the development of this paper was gained.This paper analyzes the impact of macroeconomic factors and micro factors between ro ro transport and road transport competition and game and micro factors by combining with the actual situation of the RO ro transport and the expressway.Through the AHP model,this paper determines the weight of the price,speed,punctuality,traveling comfort and does the consistency check.This paper calculated the short distance of60-650 km is the main competition interval between the RO ro transportation and road transportation.Basing on the benefit function of rolling transportation and highway transportation,this paper calculates the freight sharing rate between RO ro transport and road transport with LOGIT model.In order to establish a dynamic game model between the two,this paper established the demand function and operation cost function of rolling transportation and highway transportation,after the establishment of the game model,the total revenue equals revenue minus cost,derived the final game equilibrium.Through comprehensive theoretical research and empirical analysis,the following conclusions are drawn in this paper:In the short and medium-distance freight market,the competitive relationship between ro ro transportation and highway transportation is a duopoly game.An important performance of duopoly game is the price as a means of competition,so this paper set up a game model of RO ro transportation and highway transportation basingon the price.After an empirical study of Yichang to Chongqing,this paper obtains the maximum benefit between the two basing on the current competitive strategy,The final results show that the current price of RO ro transport and road transport are both higher than the price of the game equilibrium,which proves that these two modes of transport still have room for price cuts,but the extent is not the same.This also proves that,to respond to the raging competition coming from the highway,the price adjustment has become the effective measures of rolling transport.
