After the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of urbanization and industrialization,more and more rural surplus labor force transferred to the towns and non-agricultural employment,and in 2012,the total migrant workers has more than 260 million people.Being an important part of China's industrial workers and widely distributed in the various sectors of our national economy,the made a special contribution to the process of China's industrialization,urbanization and modernization.However,considering the reform of the urban-rural dual system has not yet made a fundamental breakthrough,they are vulnerable groups living on the edge of cities.They have been non-agricultural employment in urban,but the identity is still farmers and is not integrated into city,without urban citizenship and equal enjoyment of public services and social benefits.This will not only affect the healthy development of urban economy,but also becoming an important hidden of building a harmonious society.Therefore,solving this problem of migrant workers has important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the new urbanization.This paper focuses on the problem of rural migrant workers in the process of urbanization of Jiangxi province.The first chapter presents the background and significance of the problem,and makes a summary of the existing research.The second chapter discusses the problems existing in the process of urbanization in rural population in general.The third chapter describes the overall situation of the new urbanization in Jiangxi province.The fourth chapter,taking Nanchang,Jiujiang and Shangrao as the case,analyzes the current situation of the rural population in Jiangxi province at the present stage.The fifth chapter puts forward the countermeasures to solve the problem under the new urbanization.In the conclusion part,the author reiterates the principle of solving the problem of the rural population into the city,which is based on the human and the land elements.
