Employment issues are significantly associated to the well-being of residents in a region.Employment is not just a way of living,but also a manifestation of social values.Promoting employment has been becoming one critical tasks for the local government to address and improve and the people's livelihood,which is pivotal to the China's political,economic,cultural,social long-term stability and development.currently,China is in a special phase in which the economic and industrial structure are adjusted significantly.,The transformation has,to a large extent,contributed to China's economic development.,however,this mode change will result in a reduction in the demand for labor and an uneven distribution of supply and demand in the labor market,causing the turmoil in the labor market.it is evident that the employment problem has become a critical social problem that we should pay more attention to.This paper maily focused on the employment issues in the laborers in Altay region of Xinjiang.Through the field investigation,this paper analyzed the employment situation in Xinjiang and Altay in recent years,and examined the policy and practice related to the employment in Altay region.The employment issues faced by the labor force and the casual factors were identified,such as the small employment space,the lack of employment stability and the structural employment contradiction,the three groups of employment pressure,deficientemployment training,incomplete employment services System.in response to the employment issues,based on the theory of employment and relavant entrepreneurial employment,this paper proposed several new countermeasures.s first,the industrial structure needs to be adjusted,to expand employment space,and enhance the stability of employment.Second structural contradictions need to be eased,through improving key population employment by various measures,strengthening employment and entrepreneurship training,.Third the entrepreneurship for employment can be promoted,establishing a comprehensive employment service system and other measures to further improve the timeliness and accuracy of addressing the employment problem.Finally,this study is expected to reduce the employment pressure of the current labor force,build a harmonious labor relationship,improve people's happiness index,comprehensively protect and improve people's livelihood,build a socialist harmonious society,make some contributions to the Altay region's employment career Development.
