The Problem And Countermeasure Research Of Our Government Promoting Decent Work

In the 1980 s,the rapid development of information technology to social production has undergone great changes,the world also entered the era of economic globalization.Under the influence of economic globalization,the capital in the global flow of speed,production technology has also been a corresponding progress.This change has brought diversified choices to people’s life,but also has brought severe challenges to labor employment.Workers face the loss of basic labor rights and are exposed to various forms of undignified labor.In this context,the ILO Director-General,Juan Somavía,firstly introduced the term "decent work" in 1999,in order to protect workers’ rights and achieve decent work for workers.Decent work’s goal is to promote the general laborer in freedom,justice,security,and under the condition of human dignity to get the opportunity of a decent and productive work.Decent work has now become the consensus of the international community and the important responsibilities and long-term objectives of governments around the world.China is a developing country with great employment pressure and complicated labor relations.Since the introduction of decent work,our Government has been working to achieve this goal.In response to China’s decent work in the legal,social security,trade unions,employment and other issues.The Government has taken a positive response measures.Although great achievements have been made,there are still many problems on the road in promoting decent work development in China,mainly include: Lack of workers’ rights and interests,the social security is imperfect,the lack of safe labor environment,the labor dispute rises sharply,the employment problem emerges incessantly and so on.Therefore,drawing on the United States and Swedish government to promote decent work experience and on the basis of combined with China’s national conditions.Suggesting our government should strengthen the service and the guidance from strengthening the legal and social security system construction,strengthening the labour union’s function be constructed,strengthening the supervision of decent work,implementing the positive employment policy and the social supervision five aspects.To create a decent social environment for decent work.
