Nowadays,market demand and technology are increasingly complex and difficult to predict,Improvisation ability as a rapid response to external turbulence environment,has become an important source of enterprise invincible.Especially for the organizations which exert teams as the unit of work,need to improve the team improvisation ability to enhance the overall level of the organization's anti-risk.However,most of the scholars have studied the influence of the improvisation ability on the performance variables such as innovation performance and strategic change,while the research on the source and dynamic mechanism of the improvisation ability is less.Although the improvisation study emerging in recent years,most of these analysized from the team nature,leadership style and other significant and static team elements.However,improvisation itself emphasizes the reaction time is extremely limited in the case of creative resilience,as the behavior of the time dimension,so it is of great significance to look at the formation factor of the improvisation ability from a time perspective.Temporal Orientation represents the perception of past,present and future members of the team,which often affect the cognitive basis of the urgency of the team's strategic activities and the allocation of resources for time and ultimately to the team's improvisation Ability to cultivate.As a kind of typical dynamic ability,team improvisation requires some kind of dynamic abilities' support.Learning ability as the creative thinking and knowledge reserving ability,maybe affect the cultivation of team improvisation ability ultimately.At the same time,temporal oriention as a team's inherent,generally follow concept of time practically,can affects teams' information concerns and search methods,which will affect the forming of teams' different learning model.As described above,team members' time orientation will affect the exertion of exploration and exploitative learning,and thus affect the formation of knowledge basis in improvisation.On the basis of clear and related concepts,we add the ambidextrous Learning,which is composed of the use of learning and exploratory learning,to construct the dual mediating effect model and conduct empirical test,the conclusions going to be as:(1)Team temporal oriention has a positive influence on improvisation's two dimensions("letting go" ability and "making do" ability).Among them,the present-oriented team as familiar with its own technology and experience,can take the past accumulate experience decisively under unexpected conditions,so that improving the team's ability to respond immediately;Meanwhile,present-oriented team is good at deepening the previous knowledge,it is possible to creatively integrate knowledge at the time of its spot response,and to add novel methods and processes to the immediate response,which in turn helps to improve "making do" ability.In addition,the future-oriented team can find the new requirements of the solution in the emergencies,abandon the existing methods which do not meet the new problem-solving aspects decisively,use new technologies to solve unexpected problems actively,and enhance the "letting go" ability eventually.In addition,future-oriented team itself has a high sensitivity to new technology and market demand,can use future thinking and methods to solve the sudden problems,and enhance "making do" ability eventually.(2)The relationship between temporal oriention and ambidextrous learning are positive.It implies present-oriented and futured-oriented teams can not only promote integration,absorption and transformation of new knowledge from different areas,and improve exploratory learning eventually,but also be able to dig into the existing knowledge deeper and refining,enhancing the efficiency of existing knowledge base and improve exploitating learning eventually.(3)When it comes to the relationship between ambidextrous learning and improvisation ability,the conclusion as follows:ambidextrous learning has a positive effect on improvisation's two dimensions("letting go" ability and "making do" ability).Exploitating learning can search deeply in limited knowledge field,with a faster response to the speed of immediate under the unexpected situations,and can add the existing knowledge to the new processes and methods in this process;Exploratory learning is able to search and develop new knowledge domain,and exert new methods to solve the problem quickly under unexpected situations.(4)Ambidextrous learning is a complete mediation between future orientaionand improvisation's two dimensions("letting go" ability and "making do" ability).As an effective combination of the two learning models,Ambidextrous learning can transform team members' attention of future into the abilities of search and mastery of new technologies,and improve the team improvisation ability.(5)Exploitating learning is a partial mediation between present orientaion and improvisation's dimension of "letting go" ability and "making do" ability.It implies that the knowledge base of present-oriented teams to develop improvisation is derived from the refinement and deepening of the existing knowledge.Compared with future-oriented teams,the knowledge base is more single and can not achieve ambidextrous learning when promoting improvisation ability.
