| A large number of domestic and foreign studies have shown that foreign direct investment has an important influence on economic development of the host country.Technology Spillover Effect and Effect of Capital supply and demand which FDI brings will speed up upgrading of the industrial structure of the host country.With the accelerating pace of economic globalization,the introduction of foreign direct investment grows rapidly in each province in our country,in this context,Hainan Province is in urgent need to seize the opportunity to push ahead comprehensive industrial restructuring and upgrading.Based on the introduction of foreign direct investment and Large amounts of data of industrial structure upgrading in Hainan,This paper analyzes present condition and various problems of foreign investment utilization?industrial structure in Hainan through a number of diagrams since 1985.Based on that,with the method of the combination of theoretical analysis and experimental analysis,this article analyzes the different mechanism of the capital effect and the technical effect of foreign direct investment on industrial structure.then,based on time series data from 1985 to 2015,This paper establishes econometric model,and Co-Integration Test and Causality Relationship Test are also applied to analysis the relationship between foreign direct investment and industrial structure optimization.The empirical results show that FDI has promoted the rationalization of industrial structure in Hainan Province by effecting industrial output ratio,but The empirical results also show that There is no correlation between FDI and the optimization of the industrial structure in Hainan Province.we also analyzed the internal causes of the empirical results,and trying to Find out the problems existing in the utilization of foreign direct investment in Hainan Province.At last,aiming at the above problems,some useful suggestions were given to to reach the goal of reasonably utilizing foreign investment. |
