Research On The Design And Application Of National Competitiveness Evaluation System From The Perspective Of China

Competition is a long-standing topic of mankind,but the national competitiveness is a mod-ern concept of the rise and gradually attention.The mid-20th century,the emergence of resources in the global allocation of economic globalization trend,how to improve the competitiveness of the problem highlighted.Today,the economic globalization has brought changes in the pattern of national interests,when the Western developed countries found that changes in the pattern of in-terest and their expectations of the gap,when some developing countries with globalization to achieve sustained high growth,its product output on Western market has a huge impact,the pro-tectionist trend of Western countries began to rise,its global competition pattern research policy demand is also increasingly strong.Thus the study of Western competitiveness has emerged from academic orientation to policy-oriented transformation.In view of the current domestic national competitiveness research,we need to adapt to the new situation,adjust the research ideas,focusing on international standards at the same time,based on the interests of our country to build the na-tional competitiveness evaluation index system,based on the evaluation index system,And to analyze the level of national competitiveness of the world's major countries,to explQre whether their national competitiveness has a similarity of "club development",to find China's comparative advantage in terms of national competitiveness and relative disadvantages,and On this basis,put forward a feasible national competitiveness strategy,to enhance China's national competitiveness,and thus enrich the people's living content,improve people's quality of life great benefit.This paper summarizes the relevant literatures on the evaluation of national competitiveness,and combs the relevant theories and methods.Based on WEF's "Global Competitiveness Report",this paper analyzes the core indicators of WEF's system,combined with China's actual situation,to build the national competitiveness evaluation system from the perspective of China;Based on it,revaluate China and the world's major countries' national competitiveness,get the relevant con-clusions and put forward policy recommendations.The results show that financial market development,market size,innovation,business so-phistication,labor market efficiency and technical readiness are the six most important factors of national competitiveness.Compared with the original WEF system,the national competitiveness evaluation system based on the Chinese perspective has a positive effect on the ranking of large countries and has a negative effect on small developed countries.For China,the weaknesses is not the same on both system,the market size is still the reason why China remains highly competitive,while labor market efficiency as the replacement of technical readiness becomes the reason why China has lowly competitive;innovation and business sophistication is still two important factors to China's national competitiveness.Policy recommendations:emphasis on incremental,revitalize the stock,to maintain the size of the existing market on the basis of opening up new markets;increase labor market efficiency;to encourage innovation activities to enhance the diversity of business models.
