In recent years,Chinese manufacturing industry is in the beset with troubles internally and externally,the transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry is imminent.However,from the point of labor input view,the structural employment problem in current labor market has not been solved effectively,at the same time,the growth of labor mobility is also declining.these phenomena show that the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure of manufacturing industry in our country are facing severe situation.Based on the data of Chinese manufacturing industry in the past 1998-2014 years,this paper studies the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing structure from the perspective of labor input factors.The relevant research of domestic and foreign scholars focuses on the influence of industrial structure on employment structure mainly,there are few literatures about the influence of employment structure on industrial structure,and the research on the influence of labor mobility on industrial structure has been neglected.From the angle of labor factor input,this paper studies the influence of employment structure and labor flow on the upgrading of industrial structure and rationalization of factor allocation.First of all,this paper sorts out the relevant literature.Secondly,defining and classifying the relevant concepts,the mechanism of the influence of employment structure and labor flow on the upgrading of industrial structure and rationalization of factor allocation in the process of structural transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry is expounded respectively.Thirdly,the historical trend and current situation of industrial structure,employment structure and labor flow in China’s manufacturing industry are analyzed in detail,with the related data,using the employment elasticity and structure deviation index to measure the coordination of industry structure and employment structure of China’s manufacturing,using grey system theory to our country manufacturing industry in the change of employment structure lags behind the change of industrial structure in time for calculation,applying multi sectoral growth accounting method to calculate the labor allocation effect from labor mobility.The results show that,Chinese labor situation is not conducive to China’s manufacturing industry restructuring and upgrading.Concrete realization:the industrial structure of the manufacturing industry and the employment structure are not coordinated,the employment structure lags behind the industrial structure about 2 years,the labor allocation structure effect is negative.Finally,combining the theoretical and empirical analysis,put forward policy suggestions as follows:optimize the structure of employment,promote the accumulation and development of human capital,eliminate the institutional barriers that restrict the labor force,and deepen the reform of the labor market.We hope that the above suggestions can promote the upgrading of the industrial structure and rationalization of the allocation of factors in the manufacturing industry,then promote the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure of the manufacturing industry.
