Study On The Development Strategy Of Chemical Industry In Nanchong

Looking throughout the history of the world,since the initial framework of chemical industry,its development has been closely related with the industrial revolution,the great storm of wars,the great promotion of agriculture and the great advance of economy.Now,chemical industry has become the basic industry and pillar industry of the national economies of many countries in the world.The chemical industry has become an indispensable part of energy,national defense,medicine,agriculture and other fields.In China,chemical industry,as a basic part of the national economy,is a knowledge-intensive,technology-intensive and capital-intensive industry that has experienced a hard process from scratch and from weak to strong.By the end of the 12 th Five-Year Plan,China's petroleum industry and chemical industry output ranked first in all 36 industrial sectors,the chemical industry has finished the industrialized intermediate stage and entering into the preparation stage of the advanced stage.Chemical industry penetrates gradually into the transformation and upgrading process in Cutting excessive industrial capacity,reducing consumption,reducing emissions,making up the short board and adjusting the layouts.Nanchong city is the central city of northeast Sichuan by national planning and also the central city of north Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.Nanchong's petrochemical industry base is one of the three major petrochemical bases that constructed according to Sichuan Province Planning.Nanchong is also fortunately located in the accumulation zone of the three petrochemical chemical industry of Sichuan Province---Accumulation Zone of New Natural Gas Chemical Industry of Northeast Sichuan,which has formed main parts of oil and gas chemical industry,fine chemical industry(Medicine),new energy and new materials,etc.It has a certain advantages in resources security,industry platform construction,talent cultivation,government service optimization,policy support and guidance.But the chemical industry in Nanchong is still in cultivating and developing stage with many disadvantages,such as the low products added value and output value,its small economy size and insufficient professional degree,resulting in the lack of innovation,rare high precision products,short chain,the bad industrial structure,worse condition of matching facilities and increasing tension of land using,etc..Therefore,through the profound analysis of the status of Nanchong chemical industry,the urgent task now is to find the development strategy for this industry following scientific and reasonable mind.Based on methods of investigation,statistical analysis and empirical analysis,through ideas of combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,combining comprehensive analysis and key studies,combining micro analysis and macro analysis,leading by the diamond theory,industrial cluster development theory and the industry chain theory,starting from the industrial chain perspective and diamond the theoretical framework,this paper studies and analyzes Nanchong chemical industry's status,process,environment,factors of development,the integrating process,advantages and disadvantages,challenges and opportunities,offering some suggestions and feasible measures for the direction and way-out of Nanchong chemical industry development.The study shows that,Nanchong chemical industry must pay great efforts in aspects of building industrial core chain,developing industrial carrier parks,enhancing the capability of independent innovation,optimizing the development environment and deepening the sustainable development mode,which has a certain significance for promoting Nanchong regional economy to achieve a breakthrough in innovation development,helping the overall transformation and upgrading of the industry,driving industry towards a higher place and the high-end level.
